Student Wellbeing

At St Patrick’s, student wellbeing is a shared responsibility and a collaborative partnership between staff, families, and our school and parish community. Together, we work to create a supportive environment that nurtures overall wellbeing of every child, helping them to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Positive Behaviour for Learning

At St Patrick’s, Positive Behaviour for Learning is a whole-school approach that promotes a safe, calm, and purposeful learning environment underpinned by high expectations for both behaviour and learning. School rules and routines are clearly and explicitly taught, modelled, and consistently reinforced, ensuring all students understand what is expected of them as respectful, responsible, and active learners. Through structured group discussions and scenario-based learning, students are supported to practise these behaviours and develop the skills needed to engage positively in all aspects of school life.

Our whole-school reward system recognises and celebrates students who consistently demonstrate these high standards, reinforcing a culture where effort, engagement, and positive behaviour are valued. This consistent approach ensures all students are supported, challenged, and empowered to achieve their personal best and contribute positively to the St Patrick’s community.
