St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School proudly upholds a long tradition of delivering high‑quality Catholic education to the families of Gosford and its surrounding communities.
Our story began in 1910, when the Sisters of St Joseph founded Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School Gosford—the oldest Catholic primary school on the Central Coast. The school moved to its current site in 1960, and in 1967 it was established as St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
At St Patrick’s, Catholic discipleship is nurtured through a distinctly Catholic learning environment where Christ’s Gospel message is lived and witnessed. We acknowledge our identity within the Diocese of Broken Bay and the wider Catholic Church, fostering understanding of Catholic history, traditions, and rituals in a contemporary context.
The school’s strong religious dimension is visible in all aspects of daily life. Students participate in rich liturgical experiences and engage with Gospel values through the Religious Education Curriculum and across all Key Learning Areas. This faith‑filled atmosphere is supported by the close partnership between staff, students, and families.
