Parent Participation

At St Patrick’s, we recognise parents as the first and most important educators in their child’s life. We deeply value this role and invite families to engage in meaningful partnerships with the school and the wider parish community.

Our school community is encouraged to be actively involved in all areas of school life, including:

  • Parents and Friends Association
  • Canteen
  • Second-hand Uniform Shop Volunteers
  • St Patrick’s Feast Day Celebrations
  • Family and Year Group Masses
  • School Excursion Assistance
  • Easter and Christmas Celebrations
  • Sporting events and Gala Days
  • Reading Volunteers
  • Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and Grandparents’ Day Celebrations

Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for all our Liturgies and Masses — whether whole‑school, class or grade celebrations. We value and celebrate the strong partnership between our parish and school communities.

Clear, consistent communication is important to us. St Patrick’s shares key updates and information through our weekly School Newsletter and regular Compass Newsfeeds. Families can also stay connected by following our Facebook and Instagram pages, where we post reminders, student achievements and snapshots of learning across the school.

We welcome volunteers and appreciate the time and talents they bring to our community. All volunteers at St Patrick’s are required to complete the Volunteer Engagement Form and meet Safeguarding requirements, and attend a school induction before commencing any duties.
